23rd August 2008 and Moving Along Nicely

Jan and I were back up the scaffold this Saturday wielding our paintbrushes. We now have a method going, Jan does around the edges and I fill in the bits between....true teamwork. Meanwhile Larry makes the tea and ensures that we don't come down off the scaffold until we have done our quota!!



Meanwhile inside the new master bedroom Gordon the plasterer was working his magic on the ceiling.



The walls are up in India and Josie's bedroom and here you can see through the doorway from the landing into the girls room



And stepping through the door to the girl's room you will see their wardrobes on the right hand side. At the moment there are two lonely lights in there but I am sure that the girls will soon fill the closet with clothes.



And here is our new ensuite, Larry has been busy doing the plumbing and next week the bath will be going in and the tiles will be on the wall the week after that then the decorating will start in earnest.

Render on and painting begins!

The pebble dash render went on during the week and on Sunday Janjan and Josie climbed the scaffolding and armed with paintbrushes set to work!



Mummy loves India xxxoooxxx, Mummy wrote "India" and drew a big love heart on the side of the house!!

Windows have gone in on one side and the pebble dash is on!

Inside the girls bedroom. Here is the start of what will be one of their wardrobes and the doorway to their en-suite an study room/landing.

Larry and Josie have had to move into Lauren's bedroom as there's is full of builders!

Tonala Development

We have now been at this since Monday the 30th of June...Larry is managing the development under the very watchful eyes of his sister Jan and me (Josie T). There is lots of dust and building bits all over the place and we can't wait for it to be finished. The following pictures were taken on the 5th July 2008.
